Islamic Center of Charlottesville
Building a Welcoming, Vibrant Muslim Community serving Muslims of North Charlottesville, VA and the surrounding areas
About Our Community
The Islamic Center of Charlottesville is dedicated to building a welcoming and vibrant Muslim community in North Charlottesville. We began with regular Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers and are committed to growing organically based on the needs and support of our community members. Our vision is to create a space where Muslims of all backgrounds can gather, worship, learn, and strengthen their faith together.
With Allah’s blessing and guidance, we aim to expand our offerings to include Qur’an classes, comprehensive Islamic education, family activities, daily prayer services, Ramadan programs, and eventually a dedicated Musallah (prayer space). Everyone is welcome to join us, contribute their talents, and help shape the future of our community. We meet weekly at Northside Public Library with Khotbah (sermon) starting at 1:15 PM, and we encourage all members to participate in building this important spiritual and social hub.
